Day 6 - Ride Um' Cowboy

Today was our annual company "Employee Appreciation Day"

Our downstairs parking lot magically turned in a good old western coral with a jail yard, whiskey man, and haystacks as far as the eye could see.

Luckily I got a few of our "Wranglers" to give me a smile for the camera.

Day 2 - I Would Hang Them On My Wall

This is my "Little"....

or at least this is what I like to call her. It took a lot of persuading to get her to be my photo shoot of the day, and lucky for me she finally gave in and let me assault her with my camera.

Say Hello to Laura....

I thought that "Little" was hard to get in front of the camera... that is until I had to convince Laura to give it a whirl for me. I can't see why this girl would ever hide from a camera, I mean come on.... how can you take your eyes off her...

Day #1 - Meet My Co-Workers

There is no better way to start my 30 days than by capturing the people who I hang with everyday.

"The Peace Maker"

"The Newbie"

"The Girl Next Door"

30 Photo Shoots in 30 Days

This is my challenge.

I have decided to join in the photo club, and take part in my first assignment. I have to take a photo shoot every day for 30 days. What the subject of the photo shoot is up to me. So here I begin my journey…. I will be posting the best of the shots here, for you to see. Please let me know what you think, give me ideas of what to do next, or simply enjoy in the pictures.

New Year's in New York

Spending New Year's in New York is a wonderful experience...
The weather, the noise, bundling up in a warm scarf ....

Here are just a few shots from the Central Park on the 1st of January.

Taking pictures in the RAIN turned out to be a very hard thing to do. I really didn't know how to take them.... do I use the flash, do I slow the shutter speed... How do I keep my lens from getting wet?

Finally I figured it out, and these were some of the better results.
